Abstract
Objective: The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of combined training of arm activation and audiovisual biofeedback on stroke patients with unilateral neglect.

Methods: A total of ten stroke patients with unilateral neglect participated in this study. All subjects were randomly divided into an experimental group of five and a control group of five by coin method. The experimental group received 30 minutes of traditional rehabilitation therapy and 30 minutes of combined training of arm activation and audiovisual biofeedback. The control group received 30 minutes of conventional rehabilitation therapy and 30 minutes of arm activation training only without audiovisual biofeedback. Both groups participated in their therapy for 30 minutes a day and 5 times a week, for 2 weeks.
We used Albert Test (AT), Line Bisection Test (LBT) and Picture Scanning Test (PST) to evaluate unilateral neglect. Korean Catherine Bergego Scale(K-CBS) was employed to measure the unilateral neglect and activities daily of living. Finally, Korean Modified Barthel Index (K-MBI) was used for the measurement of the activities daily of living.

Result: After the intervention, the experimental group showed more improvement than the control group in the Line Bisection Test (LBT) and the Korean Catherine Bergego Scale (K-CBS).

Conclusion: It is concluded that the combined training of audiovisual biofeedback and arm activation showed significant improvement in stroke patients with unilateral neglect.
